hey, i can't seem to find elf2pbp.exe very easily...can anyone tell me where i should look?
also...if I'm using recovery.prx from 3.52M33-4...will i have to rename it to recovery.elf in order for it to work with elf2pbp
something just occured to me...does this trick only work on fat psp since it has the 1.50 kernal access now?
actually it would seem like many waves from 3.52 customized xmbs already work through cxmb so they should work from flash0 if you have a safe way to flash. topmenu doesn't work in 3.71M33 unless it's converted from topmenu_plugin to topmenu_icon.
but, yes, as long as you are using 3.71 compatible files, it's fully customizable (hence the fantastic update of CXMB to 2.5). it sounds like in many files, rco or prx, it's a matter of using the proper offsets for the firmware.

Yes it works only on PSP1 with 150 addon , for the rest of us with only 3.71 pandora is working great ...

It can be flashed, just makes sure you have enabled a custom theme(ptf) first before runnig the recovery eboot, that way, the psps isn't using the topmenu_*.rco files and so you can safely replace them. Already tried this and it works. I am runnig the clearxmb theme converted for 371m33.
I don't think so,.. the location free player icon is always from the topmenu_icon.rco
If icon's are not in the ptf theme the xmb uses the icon from the rco,.

Well, no need to worry about this flashing problem again. Dark_Alex fixed the Recovery USB bug with 3.71M33-2. Just upgrade to it and you can flash all you want through recovery.
