Change the boot image of the EBOOT. PSX overrides the gameboot sequence. My Simple Popstation GUI allows you to change the gameboot PNG of the PSX EBOOT.

it won't work because the changes done in the game_plugin.prx load the original opening_plugin.rco not the hacked one, the game_plugin.prx only loads the hacked opening_plugin.rco when the psp starts so that's y it won't work, so its either workin psx with sony logo or ur custom logo and no psx. Correct me if im wrong anyone but that's the idea i get from the hack.

Problem:
I changed the Logo, after extracting the tex:logo to a bmp. But when I try to replace the original tex_logo with my customized, it tells me that the bmp file contains too many colors. But why?!?! I didn't even use any colors ... just took the same white as the oroginal logo was written like.
I saved the file with 32 bit, just as the tut sais.
Any ideas?!?!?!
Thanks in advance

even in 32bit, it still has to be less than 256 color. the 32bit alpha is mainly for transperancy..

okay, but I didn't change anything ... I exported the file, loaded it into Photoshop CS2, edited the logo and saved it in the same format.
Anyway, how do I tell the program (Photoshop) to save the bmp with 256 colors only?
