As much as I agree with M33's sentiment, I cannot agree with their methods, or their vendetta against lamers, flamers, and other such ilk. Eradicate them? While wee're aiming for the impossible, how about ending world hunger? Or curing the common cold?

Well, perhaps, but it's hard to say. If they wanted to, they could've stopped for no reason at all and there's really nothing which can be done about it.
Methods may not be the best, but everyone has to follow it nonetheless (unless someone else decides to take up the job).
im grateful to them for whatever they do, they just need better public relations. they are not really building trust, if they think long term they need to build a "brand loyalty". im not sure what they're doing...
but whatever, i really don't care as far as it effects me, its more just a point i think they need to consider.

Well, what kind of Brand loyalty is there really for an unpaying job? They get the odd donation every now and then, but honestly, aside from being able to say they did it, they get nothing out of the work they do. They really put an unbelievable amount of work into what they do. I'm not happy that they're just sitting on their new firmware, but for what they do, I'll live with it.
they also get attention, admiration, and respect.
if DAX came back, everyone would go back to him in an instant, that's brand loyalty.
the samething could happen if someone else talented comes into the picture, ppl would switch just because this drama is lame.
maybe they're just doing this to shut up the whiners at they're forum. but im sure there would hav been someone around happy to go around an ban all of the donks in the forum. they could be called moderators :wink2:
what they said just doesn't really make sense, they would be better off to not say anything at all. kinda like me
