Engadget Wrote:Apparently, a PSP peripheral manufacturer called Neo has come up with a novel -- if somewhat useless (currently, at least) -- add-on for the handheld game system: a motion sensor. It's unclear right now what the possible uses for the sensor might be, and frankly, if it's something like an accelerometer, or a light sensor, or some other, cooler, more funky sensor wee haven't thought of yet. There is one thing wee can tell you for sure: it won't work on your PSP slim. Apparently, the device is aimed at home-brewers and DIY'ers -- and wee're pretty sure they'll find something interesting to do with the thing. The company says it's available now, but wee couldn't locate the little guy, or its price... so good luck.

This could open up some cool homebrew possibilities.

Though there is still no point atm, much like the touch screen you can get.
I remember reading on a tilt sensor for the DS and PSP over at acidmods.
Yay snakesp with motion control :D
I think if homebrewers used this thing in a novel way, wee could see some really fun games.

On a side note, they need to make a touch screen that doesn't require hard-modding. Maybe something that hooks up through the USB port.
It's the PSWii Portable.
lol zb
but it is interesting
