Endless Paradigm

Swearing, my mom finds my almost brand new RED iPod Nano 8GB (2nd gen) in the washing machine -- after going through the entire cycle. Ive seen iPods survive this, so now wee will see if mine is lucky :) Ill post updates every so often to see if it still works.


First impressions:

- The corners are smashed up. From banging into the inside of the washer the 4 corners are sharp and have traded their beautiful red paint for a shaved metal color.

- The screen is wet. Obviously water has gotten inside.

- The leather case is soaked and swollen. But clean.

- All the white stuff on the back (including the custom engraving) is still perfectly intact.

In order to prevent it from breaking now I won't turn it on for at least another day

I think theres a dent in the screen as well. Damn, i don't think dents will dry up...

Lol. It has my name engraved. Ill find a way to fix it anyway maybe replace some stuffs :) If i can get one of those see through cases for it than it can be sold, cause then it won't have my name on it anymore. And i can buy the 3rd gen :)

how did it end up in your washing machine?

It was in my pocket and someone didnt feel it was there and threw it into the washing machine

Frickin' parents... I tell ya - since I left home I've never put my new iPod through the wash!!!
