Well, while my internet was down for 4 weeks, my USB ports seem to have developed a problem.
Things like my PSP, Digital Camera, External Hard Drive , whenever i plug them into the usb port, i get a message saying 'USB Device Not Recognized'
Other devices, like my printer, keyboard, mouse etc, they all use a USB port, and they are fine.
Does anyone know what i can do , to get this working.

Also, i looked in Device Manager, and in the USB section, there were no X or ! marks, just when i plug my PSP in,for example, it would add a 'Unknown Device' in the USB list.

Thanks!
Try updating your USB drivers via device manager
what firmware you on
delete the USB drivers.

Goto device manager, expand the universal serial bus controllers section and right-click and uninstall every usb host controller, then restart machine.

This problem is a re-occurring one on 'some' USB chipsets..... and because windows is fap at removable hardware.
^ That usually works for me :P
