yeah this is wrong for me since sometimes I get up to 50kbps download speeds so this can't be right. . . .

Mine is 449.4 Kbps , my connection is really slow if i download movies and MP3 , so i just surf the web for news ...

For a balanced GLOBAL speed test you should use speedtest.net the cnet one is only accurate for yanks.

mine internet speed is 956kps dl and 98kps upload on speedtest on what im leeching

and on the cnet its 396kps overall

which equals around 5mb/s download :D

That does not actually equal 5MB/s download.

That site uses bits not bytes,

and 8 bits = 1 byte,

so actually, u got like 641.5KB/s. (still very good)

Stupid how they use bits. just confuses most people.

they should stop confusing people and automatically use KB/s or MB/s or you get to choose before you do the test :P
