The birth meaning that the Egyptians didn't see it as death but a birth into the afterlife.
That's why the pyramids tombs were filled with the stuff the person (pharoah) would need in his next life.

not really, it was just a thing they did.. when a pharoah or an important person died they were washed and dressed up and put in a tomb with all their valuables with them( gold, silver, money and organs which they had taken out of the body and put in jars) so that they could use it in an afterlife..so to them death was a "re-birth"..
i found it funny how they put their organs in jars in case they might need them..lol.

such talk about afterlife makes me wonder if anyone has ever considered suicide out of curiosity what's after death :P
would be pretty chocolatety if nothing happens, or if u decide to live ur life and it turns out to be really cool in the afterlife u wish ud have killed urself when u were 15 :P
