KiNg_TD Wrote:why do i have a feeling that m33 and company will pull off something like 3.52 m33-3?
For example, when the next firmware update comes. The original Pandora's battery will not unbrick it using the original files. In order to UNBRICK it, It will have to be compiled with the NEW encrypted files for the new firmware. Totally screwing all the people making money out of them.
Just a thought
maybe.. maybe not.. all the downgraders so far were software downgraders.. so they are easy to block.. pandora is a hardware downgrader... so they would have to change the hardware to block it.. the battery runs before any files on the flash do.. the psp could be blank with no firmware and pandora will still work... technically any firmware on psp fat can be downgraded

actually, i can see what hes saying works, and, to be fair, it would make sense to have done so in the first place, but, as its not licenced code (is it??) anyone could gain access to the sig and replicate it
Also, arent Sony licenced to sue as a large comany are using their code for profit...

Not really.
All they are doing is selling a modified battery.
You still have to do the heavy lifting yourself.
All Datel did was recognize that people would buy their batteries for such a thing.
So they made a special version with special colors/text.
That's it.
People were going to buy the battery one way or the other.
