Mathieulh wrote a guide (for anyone interested) on how to run 1.50 firmware from the memory stick via Pandora's battery, if anyone really feels that this is necessary...
(quote edited for readability purposes)
Mathieulh Wrote:
  • Install the pandora firmware to the memory stick using the normal procedure.
  • Copy the files created on the memory stick somewhere on your computer
  • save your flash1 registry folder into your memory stick root
  • Extract 1.50 from a psar using psardumper.
extract it as encrypted and then once more as decrypted (save both dumps)
  • Copy the encrypted dump folders to the root of the MS, and get pspbtcnf.txt pspbtcnf_game.txt and pspbtcnf_updater.txt from the decrypted dump, and use those to replace the ones from the encrypted dump located at ms0:/kd/
  • Get the flashemu.prx and lfatfs_patched.prx from the pandora MS files you saved earlier (they are in the kd folder) and copy those into ms0:/kd/
  • open ms0:/kd/pspbtcnf.txt and ms0:/kd/pspbtcnf_game.txt and ms0:/kd/pspbtcnf_updater.txt files using a text editor and :
  • change /kd/lfatfs.prx to /kd/lfatfs_patched.prx
  • add /kd/flashemu.prx right after the /kd/fatmsmod.prx line.
  • save the files

Done, the 1.50 firware will boot straight from the MS using the pandora battery. Of course you may adapt this mod to another firmware such as M33.

well this is interesting

possibility of more than 1 cfw would be cool
i have problems with corrupt settings which it can't fix :/
hmm is this the downgrader?
i don't get this, isn't this doing the same thing Pandora does?
or is this just the full version of 1.50 while running Pandora?
this is making 1.5 run instead of pandora but directly from the memory stick, and using the pandora battery to boot the psp from the memory stick. and no it is not really a downgrader though i can easily be used that way.
also i fixed my problem with a genuine 1.5 flash1 however wee still can't change any settings but that doesn't matter because wee only need this to run games and/or homebrew.
Hmmm, cool.
Oky.I still can't get pandora to work for my bricked psp.:(
seems cool though
did you follow all the instructions? did you use a legitimate psp battery? did you use at least a 64 meg psp pro duo? did you get any errors along the way?
this is for the ones who can't get their bricked psp fixed
people who keep getting the same BSOD even after press O
can anyone of those users try that method? (emulate 1.50 or any other f w from ms)
