I have my doubts about them, but I never visited ps3news, and the update works fine. I will use their software, but they have changed my mind about donating to M33 when I have the money.
Another source of my doubts about them:
LICENSE.TXT Wrote:2. Modification of the program.
You are allowed to modify the program binaries once it has been installed,
at your own risk (this excludes people eXx1l3d from M33 Software).
If you spread said modificated files, you are required to indicate that you
modified them.
O Really? Where can I find your indication that you modified popsloader? Or that vshmenu is possibly a [actually quite heavily] modified version of the menu that pops up when you hit Home when emulating a firmware in Devhook? That menu looks damningly similar.
But hey, new features, and I don't have to donate. I'm ok with that.
im not happy about this, but i have updated
Actual, to me the menu looks very similar to that of USBSSS (also booster though)....its got same functions aswell, F0 read only, USB UMD...admitedly its mapped to USB connection but the similrities are striking
Still, i dump all my UMDs as i get them, so this in menu version is useful
But soon as Wildc*rd get a 3.52 kernal CFW (if they chose to make one) im heading to it without a question

aye. the more i think about this the more it reminds me of the key stealer/aimbots for cs a long time ago - the ones where it 'borrowed' your key when you ran it but you had to agree or it wouldnt work. i think team wildcard cannot do any worse than this - short of releasing a full blown virus along with the cfw. i also will be using there stuff if they choose to release it.
i just used the third update and i didn't see anything about 75 or 133 mhz where is it located?? also what is this about the video's won't load unless you have an umd inserted, i put two iso movies on mine and they loaded up just fine, and another thing what is the purpose of having flash 2 amd 3, you can't do anything with it right???i found out where the 75 and 133 mhz is located , you press the home button and the setting pop up
well yea.
But its kinda useless
Flash2 is supposed to hold some certification files of some sort.
Meh.
MD5:

if the MD5 of the eboot is not
b20e264b1e2042be87ee361fe9dd8ebf Don't USE it
ONLY use the eboot if the md5 is

M33 is too immature. If they dislike the site, targetting users is _not_ the way to go about it. It would make so much more sense to target the website.
But then, I guess they really can't, so they try an indirect approach. PS3news has been known to piss off many developers, so there's some justification in this I guess.
Let's see how this turns out...

i agree, but that made me want to visit ps3news more often since there the ones who released the unbrickable version. looks like m33's plan backfired >.>
