XD
ZiNgA BuRgA Wrote:GMail's sPa/\/\ filters are crazy though - not one single piece of sPa/\/\ ever received in my inbox (I did get some sPa/\/\ somehow, after using it for about 2 years, but it got caught by sPa/\/\ filter).

Just don't register/subscribe to random stuff, and u won't get sPa/\/\.

I've been using Yahoo for ages now, and i haven't gotten a single piece of sPa/\/\. Not really because of the sPa/\/\ filter. If u don't let random sites/people know of your email address, u won't get sPa/\/\.

Not necessarily.  I never have subscribed to anything with my GMail account (I do it with my Hotmail) but I did somehow get some stuff.  I think some people do try combinations and send emails that way.  Spamming has become a dark profession in a sense... >_>
I <3 my Gmail accounts.
It seems like I should change email again D:

Combinations?  An email adress generally has like 10+ digits before the @ sign. Brute forcing every possible combination is not feasible, at least for large amounts of digits. If ur email was something like abc@hotmail.com, maybe, but with what u got, i doubt it.

They probably fetch them off sites using programs. But i don't have my email visible on any sites either.

Have you heard of hybrid attacks?  They're typically dictionary attacks, with common letter substitution (eg e » 3) and is also partly a brute force approach.  For example, a hybrid attack would pick up something like "daddy231".
I got my hotmail account upgraded yesterday for being a valued user :D. 5GB of storeage and customizable themes.
