Hi all,

I'm trying to change the tex_logo to a large image.

I remember when I first did this on 3.0x I had to change the game_plugin.prx and use the 0pening_plugin.rco hack.

How about on 3.52 m33? I can`t find this entry in the new decrypted game_plugin.prx

Ì'm asking because I get the white square instead of my large image.

Edit: I'm using an image with 320x240 px

Give me your topmenu , and then you can use 480x272 image . I ll make it for you

The image is already in the opening_plugin. (tex_logo)

What does the topmenu have to do with the opening_plugin images?

What causes the white block to show?

Just drives me nuts not knowing lol

Looks fine and rcoedit doesn't give any errors.

well i think that hack is only to make psx games work . . . but you don't need to fo that if you only play homebrew or iso's.

Change only the topmenu ... and try to see if are still shadows.

Nope still a nice white block lol

Heres the latest opening_plugin I can`t get to work

The image is now 224x128 just for testing..

Edit: I got a 64x64 image working without white box lol
But I still don`t get what the topmenu_plugin.rco has to do with the images that are in the opening_plugin.rco

Edit2: I searched arround google and found an older thread where bstronga mentions a max resolution of 336x80
I tested this and my image works. Just looks squished lol.

Any way arround it?

One last idea i have i saw some themes with big image in the opening , but with PSP_LOGO for the gameboot removed , use a blank.dat and replace Text_Psp_logo with it , and your game boot won't show the text anymore too . See if this can help you out .

also did you use a custom common gui ? Try replacing it with the original Common to see if this helps too .

Maybe it's the size of the rco...

I didn't think about replacing the psp_logo with a blank.dat, I used a dummy bmp for that...

Good idea about the common gui! I DID change that. I'll try both tonight.

I saw it work with large images and dangit I'll have it too!!! LOL
