Yeh ive bricked a few psp's in my time im still on OE don't see the point in upgrading at the mo,i use CXMBv1_2 its a xmb plugin that lets you put all your flash0 folders on mem stick so there is no need to flash and poss brick your psp any more one of the best app's out.
Sounds tight, Ginger Minger. I've been looking for something like that. I change themes as often as I change underwear - once a week. kidding... anyway, diego_429 - I found I actually CAN run SOME homebrew. Seems only if it does NOT access flash am I allowed to run it. BUT - I'm gonna give it a shot. I have someone over at Maxconsole who is working writing me a flash app. He's already tried writing a few eboots and nothing worked. But I remain hopeful though I may have friend the 1.50 kernel. I even pmd D_A. I'll let you folks know what's happening as I try more apps/options. Thanks for your empathy.

if you can run iso's you can try packing the m33 updater into an iso.

edit: if I were you I would pack irshell that way you can load other homebrew. oh and by the way this probably will be in 3.0 kernal so I would use the 3.0 version of ir shell.

YES! That's what I was thinking. But I can't bring a modded PSP - they'll be like, double you tee eff? But I have another bricked PSP. I was just gonna do that at Best Buy and buy it cash/extended warranty, then pull the ol' serial number sticker switcharoo and go back, "Heeeeey... this doesn't work."
