I want to buy new pc or new labtop,..
For pc i can choose between these 2 cpu's..:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz Socket LGA775, 8MB, BOXED m/koeler 255 euro
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ 3.0GHz Socket AM2 2MB, BOXED m/koeler 255 euro
What's is the nest choice,..
Or should i just go for a new labtop,.. i do want to play Crysis sometime soon so maybe labtop is little low speed for graphics,..??

This information was obtained from crysis-online.com
Quote:Crysis will no doubt be a fairly demanding game. It will require a good system to perform well. However, CryEngine2 is very scalable so lower end machines will still stand a chance.
Here is a list of confirmed information...
Crysis will run on both DX9 & DX10 as well as Windows XP and Windows Vista.
A graphics card that supports Shader Model 2 or higher is required.
CryEngine2 is estimated to scale back 2 years, and scale ahead 1.5 years.
A single 7800GTX will run the game quite well on fairly high settings according to Crysis Art Director, Michael Khaimzon.
Jack Mamais of Crytek said in an exclusive Crysis-Online interview that his X1900XT runs the game very well at reasonably high settings ( still unoptmized ).
Crysis will dynamically utilize all processing threads available. Meaning quad-core processors will be supported.
The following specs are estimates made by myself based on the above mentioned information and other sources. These estimates are NOT official - but are based on official information.
Minimum Requirements
CPU: Athlon 64 3000+/Intel 2.8ghz
Graphics: Nvidia 6600 or ATI X1600 - Shader Model 2.0
RAM: 1GB
HDD: 6GB
Internet: 256k+
Optical Drive: DVD
Software: DX9 with Windows XP / Vista
Recommended Requirements
CPU: Dual-Core CPU (Athlon X2 / Pentium D / Core 2 Duo)
Graphics: Nvidia 7800GT or ATI X1800XL Pro (SM 3.0)
RAM: 1.5GB+
HDD: 6GB
Internet: 512k+ (128k+ upstream)
Optical Drive: DVD
Software: DX9 with Windows XP / Vista
Hope this helps,
yes MY pc meets the requirements. . but if your going to play that I suggest the Desktop PC like i said a couple of post up^.
I know but i lkie to have a labtop,.. just do not know how to compare labtop with pc..!?
Having a farly fast labtop and a pc with the same spec's does not mean the labtop can keep up with the pc,..!?
I am also waiting for the flashdrive for labtops,.. and or pc's,.. instead of harddive,.. 60 gig flashdrive,..!?
If i would buy labtop i would like to know if it can play 1080i movies connected to "full hdtv"..
Since crysis goes back 2 years with graphics it should run on a fast labtop,..
yeah I know why you would want a loptop. (as I want one SO BAD!) so if you fell you will be able to play it on the loptop. BUY IT! , just a warning as loptops are not gaming machines like the PC's. but if you buy a good mouse and play it on a table it will be fine too.
hmmm,.. what about full hdtv playback connected to hdtv..
Maybe all labtops play hdtv fine these days just not to up to date ,..

about that I really don't know but hopefully someone else can tell you. . .
if you really want to play crisis, go with a desktop, otherwise, a laptop might play it ok, but you have to make sure that it's a good gpu built in.
as far as hdtv, most laptops these days play HD content just fine.
Yeah, whether you get a laptop or desktop really depends on your needs. If you get a decent laptop, it should play Crysis, but not necessarily at high or even medium settings.
Consider your needs - how often do you need to move it around? Also consider upgradability options. If you do wish to move it around, do you want a large, cumbersome type laptop with decent specs, or a lighter one with not as good specs?
As for the CPUs above, the Intel is probably better.

Yay, my 7800GT will work :) Though I only have 1GB RAM. For some odd reason, it doesn't seem to run anywhere near well as it should. 2x512 MB DDR500 Kingmax RAM in Dual Channel DDR - the RAM got a really good review, but my RAM appears to run slower than some 1GB DDR400 Generic no Dual Channel RAM... :(
Oh well.
