I want to make a specific modification to the busy icon, but I'm kinda boggled by the original image and not sure where to start.

In RCO Editor, the animations show up as two columns--plus a third column of garbage, which I'll just ignore. But it looks like the second column is identical to the first. Is the original just one column? or two?

Also, the modification I want to make calls for using a bigger image. Is it possible to do so? Theoretically, modifying the "Dimensions" in RCO Editor should tell it how to cut the image file into the seperate frames, but I'm not sure if that's true.
open the rco look at the bmp make one like it

make the Busy icon bigger with the rco tool in the page data of the rco tool :)

there you go have fun
I already figured all that out and tried it on my own a while ago...No go. I guess 56x43 is just too drastically different from 17x17 XD
You need to edit the bitmap and keep the sizes the same. If you want it larger, you'll need to use the Page tab of RCOEdit to blow it up. The first column and second aren't the same - column 1 row 1 is cell 1. Column 2 row 1 is cell 2. Column 1 row 2 is cell 3. Etc.

didn't know that . . thanks for sharing.
oh and my great success with this was keeping the 17x17 image and have no blank pixels around each 17x17...if you get your images vertically out of line the whole thing will scroll wrap up..like VSYNC is out on old tv.
