Granted, the forum isn't as active as it used to be but I've found myself straying from anime to begin with. It's not that I dislike it or grown tired with it, I just really don't make time for it. Whenever I am free and want to watch something I find myself watching reruns on Netflix of american shows I've seen countless times to fill as background noise. Do you guys still watch anime regularly? If so what's something that's stood out for I have been meaning to check something out eventually
I've fallen off with anime too. Ask me about a new show, I wouldn't be able to tell you anything. I also don't have time to watch it, thanks to work and everything else going on in my life. But yeah, seems I've also turned to Netflix or TV for entertainment these days. TV is just easier, because I can just flip through and watch whatever. Or I get bored and watch random poo poo on YouTube. Hell, sometimes I do both. But anime? It's hard finding time for it these days.
Not nearly as much as I used to but yes! 2-4 eps a week? Just finished re-watching Gurren Lagann (again, fudgeing awesome as ever :D) and watched Ghost In The Shell for the first time proper a couple weeks ago. Think I'll start Ghost In The Shell: SAC 1st Gig soon!

Like Natalie don't know anything about current shows.

It helps to space it out, which is what I do with TV shows, like 2 eps at a time, no binging it's pointless - "I'm finished!" ... "What happened in that episode again?"
I do have a ton of anime in my backlog to watch, so perhaps I'll watch a few episodes at a time. That's actually a great idea!

Also, binge watching has somehow became the new cool O.o. Everyone mentions it everywhere. "My favorite hobby is binge watching shows on Netflix, Hulu Plus, or Amazon Prime" etc. Even going as far as mentioning it on dating profiles. Kind of a subtle way of inviting people to "Netflix and chill" (cringe) with them.

Haha! I find this usually happens when I binge watch a series that I'm not particularly interested in, but continue to watch just to finish and get it over with.
nobody has been posting those charts recently have they?

i have also been dragged down by a huge backlog of shows to watch, nothing new because I'm unsure if anything good has shown up...
i watch  gundam, that's about it.

may be i will pick up one or two in the future, but harem crude humour anime has lost its appeal to me
Kinda bored of anime. Watching the new season of Jojo, amazing.
One Punch Man is the first anime I've watched in a loooong time. Really enjoyed it, but otherwise im over Anime. Bar a few series I'll always love, I just can't stand it much anymore.
ofc eKu but nowadays i prefer waiting for the BDs than watch the TV broadcast Woo
I've actually started buying the BDs to my favorite anime, gradually. I only have four series on DVD/Blu-Ray and that's Black Lagoon, Trigun, Serial Experiments Lain, and Detroit Metal City. Next on my list is Persona 4: The Animation.
