Hello EP members!
I'm trying to figure out how to add TSENEDA's Slide Background.ctf  system_plugin_bg.rco to Organv3.ctf
I tried switching Slide Background's object position similar to Organ but it didn't work.
The bottom menu of OrganV3 disappears no matter what i try.

I've attached my attempt in remixing the theme. I'm using 6.20 CFW by the way.
Uhh

32-bit transparent BMP
Also, I want to modify the opening, and successfully managed to edit it on my first try using white fonts.
There's a tex_logo.32bit.bmp in opening_plugin.rco, unfortunately when I used a colored logo and even set the alpha channel only a white box appears in the opening. Funny thing is, it looks ok in RCOEditor.
I've attached the logo as well. Can someone teach me how to properly apply transparency or is there a value I need to adjust in opening_plugin? Solved here: http://endlessparadigm.com/forum/showthr...#pid436328
Since I keep getting "error converting to GIM" in RCOeditor, I used RCOmage but I'm forced to used png-8 which lowers the quality of the logo. I still can't figure out how slide works..it's quite beautiful.
I have been out of the loop with PSP theming for a long time now. If you want help around here (because generally PSP stuff is a little dead around here these days) you best bet is to ask Cirehpsa for help. He's awesome at PSP theme things and converted/made compatible many themes for various firmwares back in the day.
PSP has memory issues and will display white boxes when it can't render pictures.
Sometimes you'll need to either sacrifice colour depth or resolution for it to work.
Looks like I have no choice but use a movie coldboot I guess?
I'm too shy to PM Cirehpsa..I hope he won't find me annoying >.<;;

edit:
OMG, I studied Nichijou theme and found out that it's not a movie opening..I'm so impressed with Tseneda

Nah of course not. He's a great guy and Im sure he'll be happy to help.

The great ZiNgA BuRgA knows his stuff too, so ask away :p

Otherwise that's really the only active members wee have left that really know their PSP stuff. Wee had many great themers here like Vegetano1, but he hasn't been active for quite some time.
Here's the solution for the logo problem.
The easiest and effective way is use RCOmage 1.1.1 to decompress the opening_plugin.rco
Change the logo.png (or the logo you will be replacing) with with an 8-bit png.
>To make an 8-bit png logo, Use 'Save for web' in photoshop and select "png-8" in the drop down box. Choose "perceptual" and "254" colors
>For better quality, use a colored logo with a transparent background. I used a black and white transparent logo and it was awful.
>Images should be lower than 10kb
Replace the logo with the one you made in photoshop and compile it using RCOmage. :D
[Notes]
Using RCOedit in replacing the logo with a png bloats the filesize and that's why the opening_plugin.rco didn't render properly.

Now my next problem would still be implementing the slideshow background... ^^;
I still can't figure this out.
