Endless Paradigm

Okay, so here it is. I feel retarded at this point, but there's really nothing I can do about that right now.

I've spent the last three days going in-depth destroying the 'stock' on my PSP. Very few corners of my flash0 have remained untouched. I've modified the vsh, paf, game_plugin and several other files - as well as decrypted every resource and redirected every one I could to ms0...

Problem is, my coldboot logo, at some point, disappeared. I've tried copying the original game_plugin.prx, and the original opening_plugin.rco both, together and separately. Right now I need to figure out which prx file (or combo thereof) killed it. If nobody has any ideas easily, I'll just do without it.. Thanks a ton, to anyone who can help.

There's a "fresh" decrypted opening_plugin.rco here...  Try replacing your tex_logo or tex_psp_logo (or just the whole file)?!?

I'm sure you've done it, but have you checked that you didn't set Skip SCE Intro to on?

I tried with both a fresh encrypted file, and a fresh decrypted file, as well as my own file rewritten from scratch. Absolutely no change - no bootlogo whatsoever. Still plays the sound, still shows the wave, goes to XMB...

I did check that, and now I've checked again.. Likely for the twentieth time, lol. It's definitely off, I've even tried wiping flash1 just to be REALLY sure the setting wasn't lieing to me. That's the first thing I would've asked someone, myself.. I'm kinda lost.

If you can really be bothered, you could always reinstall the firmware, and try all your modding again...

At this point, it's annoying but I don't really care enough to deal with it. My logo would've been cool, apparently the PSP disagrees, so I'll tolerate the unbranded look. Oh well, I guess. Thanks for trying.

Oh don't get me wrong, it's gonna make my eye twitch a little every time it boots without it.. But some battles you just can't win, and I honestly don't feel like putting out the effort to reflash the firmware and re-do all the stuff I did.. To be honest, I don't even remember everything I modded, lol.. I exist in this half-concious state 24/7.. I would be very afraid of what I might be able to do fully concious. Maybe some day I'll find out...
