Same here.
There's a few things I can try.  Though I'm not seeing much slowdown from my end.  I can see some really slow queries in the logs, but there aren't many of them.

Bots no longer seem to be that much of a problem now.

Joomy Wrote: [ -> ]What I don't understand is what's making them target this place so much. There are much larger forums that contain the same content. Is it the MyBB version or what?
I doubt bots care about the size of the forum.  It's usually related to how easily they find it.  I find that inbound links seem to help them find forums to target; that or just a regular web search.

That's what I was implying by that. Generally, larger forums will show up on search results before ones such as EP, which really has no SEO. Searching for anything PSP related, unless incredibly specific, will not return results for EP. This is why I mentioned the MyBB version being ran.
Spammers don't really care about what version you run, so I don't really understand you there.
They don't really search for anything PSP related, and spambots don't mind going through many pages of results that regular users don't.  Stuff like "inurl:showthread.php?tid=" and going through hundreds of results, or following links from other forums etc.

^ That forum gets way more bot hits than EP, is much smaller and has much less activity.  It does, however, have inbound links from here, and I've found that most bots enter the forum via the linked pages.
Reason I suggested the version is because a lot of bots will use "intext:* as well. I was just using PSP content as an example. Though bots following links makes more sense.
I see, though wouldn't that be the same across all versions?

Anyway, I've made a few changes - does it seem to be any better now?
Seems a lot better now with no slow page loading for me.
Yeah, loading fine for me now.
Highspeed loading pages again :) Thank you Zinga!
Good  to be back!
