For the lovely few who end up reading this, this is largely a depressing rant which will probably want to drive you away from reading any further.
Still with me?
Okay...
SolusVM, the, what I recently discovered, WTFBarbecue coded piece of poo poo which a lot of VPS providers use, had an exploit (which I would be no longer surprised at), which some people decided to use against the host to make things painful for everyone.
No seriously, if you know some PHP/MySQL, take a look at this: http://localhost.re/p/solusvm-11303-vulnerabilities I can't believe people write this sh*t.
Anyway, the host decided to take us down, and haven't yet come back up after days of pestering and offering free cookies and them making promises to be back online.
So I did the thing that anyone with a working brain would do and moved to a different provider.
Though I've found out that I'm an idiot for not having a backup of the server config, so hopefully this new server is set up fine.
I also have no idea how good this server is, so wee'll have to see.
Sorry for the downtime folks. Let's hope this doesn't occur too often...
