I'm probably the only person here watching this anime, but I decided I'm going to rant about it anyway.

So, I'm watching episode 9 of Aku no Hana, where Saeki confronts Kasuga about destroying the classroom and stealing her uniform.  Basically, her reaction is, she doesn't care.  She still likes him, and she doesn't want to break up with him, because she somehow knows that he 'borrowed' her gym uniform because he had a crush on her.  But!  He feels like he can't go back to her, because she knows now?  WHY?!  That makes no freaking sense.  She even said that she was sad because he didn't tell her in the first place.  I'm sorry, but no amount of embarrassment over something would stop me from continuing a relationship with someone I wanted to be with.  That would be fudgeing stupid.

However, his mother did find his messy clothes from the vandalism incident in the washing machine (because for some idiotic reason, he thought no one would make the connection), but even so, it's not like his mother would go around town telling people, "Hey!  My son is the one who vandalized that classroom, and wrote that confession about being a sexual deviant on the chalkboard", or at least I would hope not.  Although, that still has nothing to do with his relationship with Saeki, especially since she doesn't care, herself.

Kasuga finally gets the girl of his dreams, and it seems like he's doing everything in his power to fudge it up.  She doesn't even seem to mind if he is a pervert, she still likes him.  She wants him to open up to her.  She wants to be with him, but he's pulling away from her.  I do not understand this anime anymore.

I guess one conclusion that can be drawn is that he may like Nakamura, who basically blackmailed him about that whole uniform incident.  Since she admitted to being a pervert herself, he feels comfortable around her, which I understand.  Then again... His girlfriend isn't put off by that either, which is why I don't understand why he feels he needs to run away from her.

Anyway, I kind of predicted that Saeki wouldn't care.  Mainly because I was hoping this would turn into some twisted love story, which it is, kind of.  Also, despite Kasuga's strange reaction, I'm still enjoying the series.

By the way, when I wrote this I was paused at 19:22 in this episode

add me to, i like how Aku no Hana drove away from a conventional anime to experimenting rotoscoping in an anime weekly basis lol

i think that's because of existing contract with Nakamura (where originally Saeki did push Kasuga to become friend with Nakamura since shes a loner like Kasuga)

i think kasuga's mother only worried with him that he might go suicide because of what his mother know the truth

well the whole story of it is all fudgeed up lol and some are not making sense hehehe, but yeah the good things will come in future episodes (since ive already read the manga i making assumptions that the anime will still follow the manga route)

Nakamura only is the one that cares what Kasuga does and got satisfactions when he have nakamura's request done right, maybe Kasuga is really a pervert in a sense he has satisfactions not in a sexual ways

Yeah Saeki wouldnt care since Kasuga is her first boyfriend and he is the first who reach out his feelings. Anyways its great that you enjoyed this episode (or this anime as a whole) since some still prefer Shinkeji no Kyojin as their fav anime for this season

i may check that since i sometimes skipped some details while watching this anime hehehe
Hehe, I like the rotoscoping too.  I never really seen the problem with it, but I could understand why some people would be upset about it, compared to the artwork in their favorite manga.  Although, as someone who has never read the manga, the artwork and animation style was not a deal breaker for me, lol.

Oh, I forgot that Saeki did push Kasuga to be friends with Nakamura, little did she know that would be a bad decision on her part.  Especially since I just finished watching episode 10, and now I understand why he ran away with Nakamura.  That certainly makes things more complicated, but a love story with no conflict would be boring, lol.

Also, as much as I like Shingeki no Kyojin, I still like Aku no Hana more.  The fact that SnK has reached overrated status by coming in at #8 on MAL's Top Anime list, while the show hasn't even finished airing yet, is kind of a turn off.  It's rated so highly at the moment, even though the show can go downhill, lol.  I hope it doesn't though, but so far I'm enjoying both series.
MAL's top 10 isn't the best to go by. They've put many shows on their top 10 while they're still airing. They're the worst when it comes to rating stuff.
Yeah, kind of one the reasons why I don't like MAL.
