So I have a new son who is 4.5 months old...he's getting close to the stage of getting his first PSP for video watching. So I'm rummaging through some stuff in my computer room and I found the pouch with my 3 PSP (PSP1000, PSP2000, PSP3000). All batteries were removed before going in there to ensure they didn't rot inside...well I'm kind of glad I did that because all 3 batteries are 1.5x-2x the thickness they should be! Anyone else's PSP batteries expanded over time? At least my pandora battery (which stopped holding a charge long time before I stopped using the psp) is not expanded.
I'm also curious...has Sony made any new games for PSP or is everything only for the Vita?
Just New games out in Japan and such, a few localized releases too. My 3 psps are getting old now and i too have taken out the batteries and put them into storage but i can't say the same has happened. They are still normal size and charge fine.
My battery from 2005 still works, well, last time I tried a few months ago at least.
Unsure how much charge it holds. Battery cover is messed up and doesn't hold the thing in properly.
But mainly don't use the PSP because mine's really dodgy.
4.5 months? Years you mean? I'm not sure about giving a 4.5 month old baby a video watching device...

No I mean months. Our daughter was holding the PSP and watching Sesame Street and Elmo videos on the PSP around 5 months old when wee would make a 5 hour road trip to see my wife's family. She was also walking at 7 months and standing on skateboards and rocking horses when she was 1. All of which is pretty much non standard. Back then, I even had bubbletune code me an app that had 10 photos in a folder, and when pressing a button it would pull up a specific photo so she could see pictures of us instead of just videos. she LOVED it.
Yesterday my son was trying his hardest to wiggle out of my wife's arms when wee were in bed and my daughter was doing puzzles on the ipad because he wanted to see the ipad...that's what made me think I should start rounding up the PSP parts. I have no clue where any of my chargers are :(
