Endless Paradigm

So several days ago, I decided that I'd pre-order a game for my PSVita, then if possible get a demo well this game just so happened to fit both of those criteria(s) and with it I came to really enjoy this game. (mind you I'm on the US server for PlayStation so for those of you with JP accounts this is extremely old news due to the fact it's already out in Japan and what not...)



So this game is a simple hack, slash, dodge repeat, and grind items over and over again......but don't let that deter anyone the game (in my opinion) has near console like quality. But along with that you have a choice.....the choice between life and death for the "monters" you kill, many of which are animals cursed by the land of their own sorrow anger etc., etc., but also many different people over come with the same afflictions. SO the choice is to "save" them or to "Sacrifice" them, and depending what you do can lead to different events within the main story-line.






So anyways, as in the picture above is a picture of the odd little (that has an amusingly funny British accent *no offence to anyone by the way*) book that allows you to relive the past to do all of these things while you are couped up in  a cell just waiting to be sacrificed yourself......(ironic)




So in closing I'm rather impressed by this game, and it was well worth the $35.99 pre-order, and so while I'm here tinkering with the demo, and immensely excited for the 30th when it comes out, is any one else here interested in this type of game, or just interested in the graphics. I'd like too hear thoughts, opinions, random garbage, or whatever floats your boat (or an even better elaboration? I dunno.)

(and if you'd like too see more I got a decent vid for you, not made by mean grant it but still....better than me attempting to fumble with my vita and a camera at the same time )

I was looking for sacrifices. I am displeased.

In the sense of killing giant monster things, yes. Otherwise its unique enough by its own.



Im totally all for this game. I too have pre-ordered it and can't wait to play! Ive already sunk 20+ hours into the demo and really can't wait for the full game.

When I saw the title screen, I instantly thought "Monster Hunter". HUD is kinda similar as well.

Hud is about the only similarity

I won't be getting this game though, I don't like the gameplay.

I'll get dragons crown maybe though so if you're up to that then there's that (note they don't have crossplay and I'd be getting the vita version if I were to ever get it)
