Endless Paradigm

I just got this today:



No idea what kind of bird it is, but it followed my dad home when he was walking the dog and then sat on his head for 45 minutes. He had a tag on his ankle so he is definitely a domestic bird, but that's the extent that I know about him.

But yeah. I got a bird now :D

It kinda looks like a Pigeon. It probably is from the same Family.

Its a dove I think. And doves and pigeons are from the same family. He's so friendly and calm, its awesome.

though.. if he/she has a tag .. doesn't that mean someone else owns him/her ?

Yeah but the number on it is all messed up and I can't read it. So unless I see a "lost bird" ad somewhere I'm not going to worry that much about it.

Did you previously have a bird?  Or just went out and got a bird cage?

No I had a bird 5 or 6 years ago, and put this one in that cage. I've got to get a bigger cage for this one though he's like 3x the size of my previous one.
