So, I've been going through whatever horror/Gothic genre of anime I can find (OVAs as well). Most recent I've seen are Gantz and Le Portrait de Petit Cossette. Anyway, was wondering if any of you could recommend some more. I've Googled around, but nothing I've found really catches my interest.
Go watch Kara no Kyoukai, it's not strictly a horror anime but whatever. Don't worry if the 1st episode is confusing, shit starts to get really good once you get to like the 5th episode.

I've seen When They Cry. Not watching it EVER AGAIN. :| Anyway, I'll look the rest of these up when I can.

For some reason, this made me cackle like a madman.
There just aren't many genuinely good horror titles. The only one I'd recommend to others is Higurashi.

Corpse Party is good and some of it's spin-offs except one called Corpse Party Musume «-- so many fan service
Not strictly horror but I just thought of it and have to recommend it - Denpa teki na Kanojo.
Unfortunately it just feels like it could do with much more than just 2 OVAs.
