This is for the people who follow UFC.

Lost touch with the UFC recently but now I know what's going on - surely Jon Jones would have just taken who the organization thought would be the next best fighter available anyway? Seems a bit weird. Amuses me that Lyoto Machida rejected the fight though.

Jon Jones said if he fought Chael Sonnen and Chael ended up beating him, that he would lose everything and that Chael Sonnen had nothing to lose. Lyoto Machida is not yet ready for another Jon Jones fight. If he had taken the fight he would have lost again.

Re Lyoto, fair enough. I feel he can beat Jones though, totally ready.

Chael must be pretty pissed off being rejected like that though lol.

Yeah lol, but the person that was really pissed off at Jon Jones was Dana White.

Don't follow UFC, but I do know Dana White is a little bitch who deserves no apologizes.

Well this is what UFC is about.

I always that UFC was about men rolling around on a mat, shoving their genitals into eachother, and hugging in awkward positions.

Oh wait, it is.

And then once in a while you see a few punches and kicks. But the frequency of them is overshadowed by the ultimately homosexual vibe.

Well a UFC has never been cancelled before. I can see how criticisms of the UFC are warranted though, there needs to be fresh blood introduced so they don't run out of options so quickly. They can't just keep cycling the same fighters.
