True, true but that is their job.
Damn, I would use Demonoid whenever I couldn't find what I was looking for on other public trackers. Too bad.

I was wondering that myself.
From what I've heard, it's not a bad place if you don't mind living in a shoebox apartment.
They also speak English, but attached to China. Interesting.
Blackcats has been wonky for bit now. Oh god I hope they aren't next in line, I've downloaded terabytes O_O
I used demonoid and had terrific ratio there. Can you guys recommend a replacer? I tried HD-space and til now I don't like it. Don't know what's wrong but I've been seeding 12gig but it only shows 5gig. Never had that problem with demonoid.
Apparently back again?
Quote:Demonoid Resurrected? An Interview With the Admins of D2.vu
Yesterday the torrent world lit up with news that Demonoid had somehow been resurrected under the new domain D2.vu. However, the site was quickly taken offline by its host in the U.S. who claimed that it was serving up malware. With the site now back online with a new host, TorrentFreak caught up with its admins who tell us they have no malicious intent and simply want to bring a community back to together. While there is still uncertainty, one thing is absolutely clear – they do have the old Demonoid database.

Apparently not the same admins as the old site, and the old admins don't seem to approve:
Quote:Topic for #demonoid is: OPEN REGS:UNKNOWN; SITE: DOWN; FORUM: DOWN; TRACKER: DOWN;| Welcome to #demonoid. | d2.vu is not demonoid, not run by demonoid admin or staff, and should not be supported. The site could be used to collect your usernames/passwords for their own use. Use at your own risk.
However I've heard that the database is indeed a copy of the old Demonoid site.
