MediaCoder 0.8.13.5266 has been released.

Quote:MediaCoder is a free universal media transcoder since 2005. It integrates most popular audio/video codecs and tools in an elegant and transparent manner into an all-in-one transcoding solution. With a flexible and extendable architecture, latest codecs and tools are updated added in constantly. MediaCoder intends to be the swiss army knife for media transcoding in all time.

Converting between most popular audio and video formats with high performance and in high quality
    Multi-threaded transcoding and job-level parallelization
Quick access and flexible control of all transcoding parameters
Simplified UI and special editions for mobile devices and web video
Hardware encoding acceleration (Intel SandyBridge, nVidia CUDA)

Typical Applications

Improving compression / reducing size for audio and video files
Converting media content for playback on multimedia devices
Converting media content for online publication or broadcasting
Unifying and normalizing media standard and storage format
Extracting audio track from video files and discs
Dumping and encoding from network stream or capture device
Fixing corrupted or partial downloaded video files

After trying it out, I actually like it.  Despite a few annoying ads, the GUI has all the handy PSP settings right there at your fingertips. The program seems very stable, and has good video processing speed.  To top it off, it has some great features including adding effects to your videos.  Since it is freeware, I recommend giving it a shot.   Madwin

There are also iPhone/iPod Touch, mp3/mp4 Player, and 3GP Mobile Phone specific editions available.  Screenshots, download and more @ the official web site:  http://www.mediacoderhq.com/index.htm
I've just started using it as an alternative to handbreak. It's built in options are quite plentiful.
Sounds like a nifty SUPER-successor. Thanks for the heads up Shizzy.
SUPER was just plain sh't in so many ways.  Have no idea what made it popular.
MediaCoder is way better, although its web poo poo is annoying as hell.  v0.5 where you can disable most of it isn't bad, though I only used it for audio encoding (which I now turn to foobar2000 for).
still using xvid4psp though it does get updates every now and again does it jobs ;p

youtube profiles are nice

This is very true.
Will have to give this a try. I use Any Video Converter currently, works a treat, even better than things like winmenc for making gameboots.
I cut down my self rip collection (the last 3 days encoding straight) from around 300 GB to 100.

Can't get the Intel encoder to work through. Would love to try it with my Ivy Bridge. Just using H.264 (10-bit) and XviD with it right now.
The Intel encoder will most likely not reduce the size as much as it's designed for speed, not efficiency.
