PSP 3004 (04g) Update error


Current Version : 5.70 OFW PSP 3004 Piano black
Problem : UPDATE ERROR

Whenever i attempt to UPDATE to 6.20 ,6.35,6.39 or 6.60 i got these errors

Always shows up:

The update cannot be started.
The data is corrupted.
(UKN A)

Sometimes its:

The update cannot be started.
The data is corrupted.
(SGT90000001)

Ive tried everything possible, replace Memory stick (used 10 pieces all originals)and 2 china made results the same

Restored default settings, change OFW updaters ,i even update thru wifi (SYSTEM UPDATE)

I even Tried UMD with 6.60 updater

ALL COMES UP WITH THE ERRORS ABOVE

Try disabling your version.txt

Oh, Ii didn't realize that you were on OFW. Try reverting back to a fresh 3.XX, and running the updaters again, then let us know how it works out.
Also, you might have to run in a circles here for a while, so download nand manager, and make a nand backup, just in case you need to come back to 5.XX.

How can i revert back to OFW 3.xx when it was equipped on 5.70 (04g) psp 3004? is it possible to downgrade while on 5.70 OFW?

Let me see if I can't find a capable HEN

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but exophase says 5.70 is airtight. It looks like you're SOL to me...

Might be something wrong with your PSP. Hardware wise even. Seems a very weird problem.

If it's truly OFW, perhaps consider sending it back under warranty?

overdued.. not covered on warranty, i can't seem to look a possibilities on hardware issues

So, I presume regular games work?  Does homebrew (signed or unsigned) work?
