Do you think it's real or fake?
The reason I'm asking is because I'm going on a trip with my family and I need a big memory stick for the road so I don't lose my mind. This one is a good price and actually says "NOT A COUNTERFEIT" but I'm not so sure. My 1 GB is fake but it works fine...
i would say go for it because
1- the buyer has a good reputation
2- even if it is fake, it shouldnt affect game speeds drastically (just don't use it to upgrade firmwares - dunno why though lol)
3- the price is quite good :D
I think sometimes its the luck of the draw i got a 4 gig sony magicgate from HK and it only let me put one game on it after that it said the data was corrupt:( looking at it this one was was realy dark grey rather than black, but im sure it will be fine if the guy has a good rep.good point from dedat though about not using it for downgrade you want to make sure there is'nt any files missing,but you already know that right;)
I have a legit 1GB that came with my PSP when I got it for christmas 2 years ago, so I don't have to worry about the up/downgrade thing. I just want to be able to have more than 2-3 games on one stick. I mean, Utah to California is a looooooong drive.
Dammit, it's fake. Also, when I try to start games from it, it says "Game could not be started. (80020321)" I'm guessing that's cause it's fake?
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I had No-UMD turned off and no disk in the drive.

yea I recently got a 4 but for about 90ish. Where are the 8's?? Mine is slow as hell when copying files but once they are on the mem stick they load fine.
I've had that "D'oh!" moment with my 360. I was trying to connect to xbox live for like 20 minutes and I was getting so pissed because all the settings were right. Everything seemed connected except my wireless adapter didnt have the power plug in >_>
