I've fixed my ASUS Laptop and all it needs is an upgrade to my Graphic Drivers.
BUT, It screws up the display on my laptop (AKA It doesn't turn on the laptop display and I have to use a monitor as my display.)
Can someone help me?
Are you using the ASUS version of the graphics drivers?
SiS graphics chip - aren't those really old?
Could it be something simple as a key combination you have to press?
Can you get into a 'graphics console' supplied by your driver?

No and No
I'll post a picture if I can get hold of a camera
Edit:If I try to change to my laptop display, this happpens
That's not the 'graphics console' I'm talking about - some drivers will include a separate panel application.
You sure it's just a driver issue? Does anything show on the screen during system start up?
It shows the ASUS logo and 'Starting Windows' screen but after that, nothing.
Does anything show up in safe mode?
What about a separate Windows install?
1. Nothing.
2. I only have one windows install on this computer (Unless if you count my other XP laptop)
So clearly a display driver issue then, though safe mode not complying isn't a nice sign.
I'd reinstall if you can't get the driver working. Preferably from the OEM disc.
