I couldn't find those files with hard subs... Whyowhy

So I need to extract the subs from the mkv's and burn them?
Should I use MKVExtract and what to burn?

edit: I just got the mkvtoolnix and the GUI. I ran the GUi exe, selected the file, it identified the video the sound the subs and the fonts. Then i told him to extract the subs to another folder and he went "bump" and nothing happened. No subs appeared on the folder (only ttf's and a xml with the chapters) but the program didn't give any error. I'm too lazy for this stuff.... but I even went as far as actually reading the readme!
I guess watching anime during class is a dream that will never come true.... unless I get a laptop

edit: Now I tried to merge the mp4 without subs with the subs from the mkv but it didn't work. the resulting video was all bugged and just gave me a black screen, no subs, some audio. Was it because of different sizes and type? Should I convert the mkv with subs to the same resolution, so I can then merge the subs with the mp4?

edit: I can now extract the subs but only to mks extension
You didn't try xvid4psp?
gomenasai, I forgot to try that. it's downloading now.

edit: when I open the file with the xvid4psp in the preview it doesn't have subs. Am I doing something wrong? there is a menu called subtitles but all I can do there is add or remove, and if I press add it asks the directory, and I don't have the subs file.
Did you use MKVextractGUI(not mkvmerge)to get the subs?

yes. but it failed. I selected the file, and it identified 3 tracks: subs audio video and fonts files and chapter info file. I selected the subs file and pressed extract. it said 'extracted ok' and a sound like 'bump' but nothing appeared on the folder I selected. I also tried selecting everything and pressing extract. the result was that the font files and the chapter xml file appeared in the folder and nothing else.
Try this one, put it in the mkvtoolnix folder.
