I found this site today. It's hilarious:

Quote:What is Wii Emulator? Wii Emulator is an improved version of GameCube. As of today, Dolphin is the Emulator available in the market which is also a GameCube emulator. However, compatibility of this Wii feature is very low. There is a preliminary Wiimote emulation but unfortunately it’s not working yet. Another version of emulator is Dolphin 64 bit. Dolphin 64 bit is an optimized version of Dolphin Wii emulator as well as GameCube emulator.

What is Dolphin? Dolphin is an open source Nintendo GameCube, Wii and Triforce emulator. Dolphin is only intended for Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.  In fact, this is the only emulator that runs commercially successful on GameCube and Wii games.  And this is the only emulator that capable of running commercial Wii games.

In general, emulators allow computer programs to run a platform like computer architecture or operating system. This kind of emulator is known as software emulator. However, hardware emulator is an emulator in the form of hardware devices like printer emulators.

As of today, there are numerous sites that offer Nintendo Wii Emulator Download with reasonable prices. Wii emulator is an open source project released by July 2008 but it reaches a milestone last February 2009. When this emulation made a breakthrough, it is now successfully boot and run the official Wii system Menuv1.0. And fortunately today, it can boot all versions of Wii OS.

Either this is a really bad translation, or it's a really good bot.
How does I emulate printer. ( 。 ヮ゚)
Well it's a sPa/\/\ blog most likely

As for who wrote, I doubt a bot could do that (unless it's pulling random sentences) - either bad translation, or done by some cheap labour in 3rd world countries.

I think it'll be pretty easy to code a "virtual printer" or something that takes a print request and outputs an image or something instead of actually printing it.

Also can Dolphin really emulate the Wii?  I thought it was a GC emulator.
^ Does both as far as I know.
Yeah Wii games work just fine, you just need a pretty powerful CPU >.<
Ah, ok, thanks.

As for CPU, 2GHz 2nd generation Core i7 on laptop (faster than my 3yrs old desktop).  Turbo boost to 2.6GHz if using only 2 cores.
Hmm with 2.6ghz you will be able to play a handful of games, Smash Bros. should work just fine for example, Muramasa the Demon Blade too, mostly games that are more of a 2D perspective though Rune Factory Frontier also worked okay when I had a 2.5ghz CPU. (That said I heard that i7s are very efficient compared to the Phenom I I had back then so you might get better results than me)

But sadly games like Super Mario Galaxy don't even run smooth with a i7 on 4.3ghz as of yet however Dolphin is in constant development so that might be optimized in the future.
Oh and having only two cores is fine, Dolphin can't effectively use more than two anyways and if you need any help with the configuration or anything just let me know here^^
I don't really think I'm going to try emulating Wii just yet.  Still got my hands busy with PCSX2.  Thanks for the help anyway though.

As for the 2 core thing, I sort of figured it'll be like that.  Due to the nature of emulation requiring very precise timing and synchronization, it's generally very difficult to truly multi-thread.
How well does PCSX2 run games? Is it glitchy or a perfect emulation experience.
