Yeah, I would've put a 'disclaimer' - they are useful at times, though may make you seem untrustworthy... Then again...
Anyways, that sucks - I wonder why it does that... >_>

yeah, get some of your money back.
I did that to my friend but the 3.10 oe-a refused to install...I have no idea why because I did the same thing for my psp. He had that ta-82 motherboard (i think that's the name) but then again the dg was supposed to be able to work around that. Anyways his psp still works so :)

cleric, I had a demo for bushido blade a looooooong time ago and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Which is the best one? I think a second one came out didnt it?
I did indeed let him know there was a risk involved but I feel I played it down too much because I've made about 10 successful downgrades on other PSPs. Usually I insist on having the person sit with me while I go through the process but as I'm on leave and at my home address I took the system with me and said I'd do it while I was home. It was also the first time I'd tried to downgrade from 3.50 using Lumines rather than 3.03 with GTA - I even spent £15 on Lumines ffs!
@ cybershot:
The first Bushido Blade is by far the better of the two for playability but lacks somewhat in the technical department i.e. it's ugly as sin. The second one also removed half of the injuries and made it more like a scrolling beat'em up where you had to fight several enemies in quick succession. Get the first, it's awesome.
What're you planning on doing with the bricked system? There are ways to recover them, and someone like myself might be interested if the price were right..... It'd be a decent way to recoup some of your losses as well..
