Hello everyone, today's issue is that Source games tend to bog down often for me.

Team Fortress 2: Framerate stays around 150 fps normally, but on maps with high playercounts, it lowers to 20-30 sometimes.

Garry's Mod: Around 100fps on average, but when spawning advanced models, can go down to 10fps. For example, spawning something using the Advanced Duplicator tool makes the game unplayable.

Both games are updated to the newest versions.

CPU: AMD Phenom II x6 @ 3.0GHz
GPU: Radeon HD 6770
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Am I missing some option here? Why does everything slow down?
Hm...I dunno what the problem could be since you have better specs than me and I don't have these problems.

Wha?
I dled CS:S the other day, illegally of course. When I was on Vista it worked just fine on med, on Win 7 it's like 20 fps on low.

It's just that Windows 7 sucks donkey balls.
Vista isn't much better, in fact I had thought it to be worst than 7.
which is why I still keep XP to play games.

Sigh
Bunch of haters, everyone knows Vista is the best.

Bitches, learn the truth.

Windows 3.1 is the best.  Runs on 8MB of RAM and easier to use than any modern Windows.

Man, forget Windows. The PDP-1 owns. It even had some awesome games.
