So, I finished my last project, which I named "The Control Freak" but when it got done, I realized that the only thing keeping me busy was building it! I found myself making a vise, a stand for my cutting mat, 3 C-clamps, and a lamp (which, by the way, is not a good project idea, I've made 9000 lamps in my lifetime.) but none of these "micro-builds" kept me busy for more than 45 minutes; while The Control Freak kept me busy for a month! I NEED A PROJECT IDEA! THEY KEEP ME SANE WHILE I HAVE NO COMPUTER! HALP!
HAAAAAALLLLLLLLPPPP!!!
What is your field of expertise?
Like, your interests, what you do apart from the computer.
Well, I can drill into glass without shattering it, or cracking it, I can drill through 8 in. of steel without overheating the drill bit, and I can solder far better than the average hobbyist. I really enjoy metalwork, and combining glass and wood. electronics are really my forte, though, I've been messing with electronics for over 5 years now, while I've only been working with the other materials, and power-tools for about 2 years.
tl;dr I'm good with just about everything except masonry,
You could get yourself an Arduino which could be the building block for lots of projects.
Yeah, but I have no computer to program it with, plus, I prefer an FPGA.

Ok so something that does not involve using a computer...
A wooden clock with fully working wooden gear movement.
Or
A huge model of something made out of matches (could take a while).
Or
Getting away from wooden items, how about a mini rail gun, lol
do you play any instruments?
How bout a Glass and wood coffee table that has LED light attached?
