I'm liking it so far, I bought it and don't regret it.
Main thing that bugs me is the menu for pretty much the same reasons ZiNgA mentioned.
Also screenshot I took earlier that made me laugh:

Big list of tips:

Some useful ones (or ones I didn't know):
If you want to keep sprinting don't let your stamina run out fully as it takes a few seconds to starts regenerating
Every major city stables has a wagon which you can use to fastravel to other cities you've never been to
You can place baskets on peoples head and then 'borrow' their stuff without them noticing -

By holding the "Use" key you can move items around.
Resting in a bed will give you rested status, allowing for bonus XP gain, restin in your own bed (inside your house) will give you a well rested status allowing for even more bonus XP

Lots of things don't seem to be documented (whereas some basic stuff are)...
Thanks for the tip - that'll come in handy.
You're welcome!^^ Just finished the Winterhold College beginning quest line, damn that was almost impossibly hard on standard difficulty >.>
How many bugs did you find? (Get it? 'Cause it's a Bethesda game?)
Seriously, though, did they fix the scripting?
im about midway through Winterhold college quests, they seem to flit between LOLPWN and OFMG!!!! in terms of difficulty for me
You tried any of the dragon priests? Fought Krosis and he completely walked me up and down the valley on a Destruction / conjuration mage....
I think it's awesome! I love the new enemies and the map in general, and the voice acting is much better than in Oblivion aswell. They had 10 voice actors in oblivion compared to 70+ in Skyrim.

That was always a bit disturbing.
One other thing I forgot to mention, perhaps because Oblivion had it, you can save anywhere! Good to see it breaking away from the checkpoint based save systems from console ported games.

Graphics looks pretty bad... or maybe just your settings.
The graphics looks good from afar, but if the textures right up close like that log look bad. It's on the highest settings, there are also some tweaks you can do in the .ini file to enhance the graphics

I was more thinking about the hands in that screenshot. The hands look like poo poo.
But the new screenshots don't look all that good either. Well, I mean Oblivion graphics was ahead of it's time back then, this definitely isn't.[/quote]
