A fudge load of people play guitar now as it is anyway. Guitar is a pretty common instrument to be played.

Being able to play an instrument is a bit different to composing music...

I agree with Grey Ghost, "Guitar is one of the most, if not the most common instrument now a days" plus even if a lot of people take up the guitar there's no guarantee they'll be any good.

I've been playing guitar for about a decade now and I've seen people who've reached my level of playing after 2-5 years (which is very impressive considering the age some of this kids are) and people who've been playing as long as I have or even longer and can barely play simple sweep arpeggios.

To gamers this will probably just be another game. Most won't have the heart and passion for the guitar itself, so I wouldn't worry about this people being much competition lol

I agree with this.  To gamers, this will just be another game.  As a guitarist though...  I have no interest in this game :/
