Dunno if electronics are expensive over there, but that's a plain ripoff. You can get 4th gen for <AU$200, BRAND NEW.
The price is cheap for 5k but I'm just worried about the model since I don't know anything about itouch except jailbreaking (BIG LOL). Mostly prices here are 6k-10k php *second hand* and depends on what model. Brand new on here is 12k PHP up and that's only itouch 4 8gb
Try importing then (unless you have huge import taxes).
Take a look at other devices too - if the demand for iPods are high in your country, you might be able to find a bargain non-iPod device.

i could sell you my ipod touch 32gb with belkin skin in only 9000 php, but i already sold that to my other friend, and 8gb itouch is not worth spending to this day since you will need a lot more space for movies, music, apps, and since you can already have an ipod touch 4th gen 16gb around 7K pesos
