Endless Paradigm

i have a psp 3000 04g model running 6.35 ofw. and i want to downgrade to 6.20 so i can install cfw. i have all the neccessary files i need to downgrade. so i run the chronotrigger download. press x and x again which took me to the SCE updater. but when i got the this message popped up:
"A later version of the system software is already installed.
There is no need to update. (CAAFFFFFCF7)"

and iver tried numberous times. same answer. so i gave up and thought id install another cfw, 6.35 pro b9. so i run the pro updater. press x to launch cfw which writes some files to the flash0 and it says rebooting. so i wait for it to reboot which took forever only to find out that it shut my psp off. checked the fw, still running ofw not cfw. again i try numerous times to initiate this proccess still none.

so can anybody help me with downgrading to 6.20 so i can install a cfw? thanks in advance.

Your psp crashed, try again...

Here is three things you can try.

1: Reset system settings.
2: Format psp memory stick...... first back up all the important files.
3: Update to 6.60 OFW then use my downgrade tutorial in my sig.

Ok ive followed these 3 steps. still no luck. says samething when i run the downloader trying to downgrade from 660 to 620.

so i tried downgrading to 6.31. went through. but when i tried to downgrade to 6.20 it wouldnt let me. i tried redownloading the 620 ofw thinking it would help but same outcome.

maybe your 6.20 OFW is for PSP GO make sure it's for your psp

nope. made sure of it. and it still says that my psp is up to date and doesn't not need to update.

EDIT:  i forgot to ,mention that its a psp brite 3001 04g model.

anybody who can help me? =(
