Yeah the only thing that sucks is I always use it for music, gaming, checking emails.. If I add texting well that might be the problem. Battery life would last for a day or a day and a half. Anyway if I choose android phone I'd pick Xperia Mini Pro or Xperia Mini (the new released ones)

I bought my iPod after selling my PSP because I didn't play games on it and only used it for music. I'd prefer to carry around an iPod over the large PSP.

yeah touch screen games =/= made of handheld console

PSPs can be got for like $100 here.  Cheapest iPod Touch 4g 8GB is like $200.
If all you want is music, nothing beats a ~$40 Sandisk Sansa Clip+.

I'm not using it for all gaming, mostly music. Gaming is just extra for my mind

Well, downside is that the music playback is only for 6hours+? and not longer than 24 hours

Why not a cheap phone?  iPods don't support 3G/4G.

I saw an LG Optimus 2X for $380 here, which has like a dual core CPU, 4in screen and all that.  Surely you can get something decent for $200.
