Endless Paradigm

So the much anticipated iPhone 5 actually turned out to be a 4S, and not too much a difference from the 4.  Seems like the iPhone is just playing catch up with the latest Android phones at the moment.

I don't know the specs of the original 4, but here's a summary of what's new:

• Dual core CPU like in the iPad 2
  
• 7x graphics performance
  
• Redesigned antenna, to ensure you can't hold it wrong
  
• Supports both CDMA and GSM in one
  
• Their experimental "Siri" AI system, which tries to answer your questions that you ask via voice (I generally don't trust these systems, but if it's Apple, it could be decent)
  
• 8MP camera
  

No mention about RAM, so possibly the same.

new iPhone is just another way to sneak more money our of fanboys. Do people really think, "OMG I NEED THAT FEATURE!" and end up selling their souls to apple to get it?

Well there's hardly any reason to upgrade for any software related things, just wait for the Jailbreak/Homebrew community, I'm sure Siri will be on the iPhone 4 and maybe 3GS faster than Apple can patch anything
