Gonna replace my disk drive with a hard drive.and use my original bezel to keep it flush.

wonder if it supports raid? highly doubt it. hopefully setting ready boost/page file to second drive will help and dual booting will be notably smoother. Though my only spare blank HD is 80gb QQ

I don't think it's the duty of an external bay to provide RAID.  That would be your motherboard's controller, of you could use software RAID.
