Sony PlayStation Vita is set to be released on December 17th in Japan. If you are thinking to get the 3G model, NTT DoCoMo will be the partner for the console’s prepaid 3G services.

Customers will have to purchase the prepaid 3G card to get the connection, here are the packages:

Prepaid Card - ¥980 for 20 hours

Prepaid Card - ¥4980 for 100 hours

Pre-orders open on October 15th. The first 500 PS Vita consoles 3G model sold will have a good chance to receive a free 100 hours prepaid 3G Card.

The prepaid card prices make no sense, as it would be cheaper to buy  five 20hr cards than it would be to buy one 100hr card.  Are you sure they are the correct prices?
I assume that the tax on buying 5, 20 hour cards would be higher then just buying 1, 100 hour card.
