Besides the aspect that PS Vita will have a front and a back camera, wee don’t know anything else about this important feature of the new second generation of portable yet. However, wee have some news for the fans of the new device. Sony finally announced some technical specifications, so you would know what to expect from the new device.
The cameras will have the same characteristics, both of them being 320 x 240 cameras on QVGA and 640 x 480 when operating on VGA. In simple words, you will benefit from two cameras with 1.3 megapixels.
Not much, considering that the new smartphones have cameras with 3.0 pixels resolution, but let’s face it: the camera is not the most important characteristic of a gaming console. A few games will use it, and you might need it to take pictures of your friends from time to time but those characteristics of the cameras are more than enough to create an enjoyable experience for the player.
