Yeah just look up a guide, basically download and install on usb or disc and boot it from the bios menu, it'll try cracking the paswords of the users on the computer it's on. it's basically a really fast compressed dictionary attack so if the password is unique enough it won't find it.

Chances are if he uses it for bank account/important such-es, it probably won't crack it.
How do you still need a password when you boot from safemode ?
2nd method .
1.turn on computer
2.when you see windows loading screen hit power switch on back
3.when you start it back up try every mode possible until you get one that lets you in without a password.
