Yeah, so uhm - obviously you can fix the idstorage keys so you can re-upgrade to stock firmware... And obviously, people are writing custom firmwares constantly still. Did it not occur to you that perhaps, just maybe, a custom firmware might not give two sh*ts about improper idstorage keys, and work anyways? WITH the Sony ISO launcher? By the way, the Sony ISO launcher will not, without being hacked, ever load games off the stick without the same kind of protection PSOne games had, so you'd need a custom firmware or legal ISOs anyways....

about the sony iso loader part. . it is hacked now by team m33 and im very happy running on it. (SO SMOOTH!)

I'm aware it's been hacked by the M33 team. That was my point - in order to use the Sony loader, you'd need a custom firmware. The original post complained that people would never get to use it or whatever. My point is, you'd need a custom firmware to use the Sony loader on anything non-legal and thus would automatically not need to worry about idstorage keys.. But it's all moot anyways, as the keys can be fixed, so oh well I guess.
