Quote:Developer ErikPshat just posted an impressive video showcasing the ta088v3 running. He surely trusts his work, as the video shows him intentionally bricking a ta88v3 (by removing the battery in the middle of an Official Firmware update), and bringing it back from the dead with a Magic memory stick.

This is an amazing development, hopefully somebody supplies an English tutorial on this soon.  Ahaa

The PSP 2000 got into service mode already with a pandora battery, but the MMS wasn't good. PSP 3000 just won't get in service mode by use of a pandora, so someone has to find something else for it...
Impressive.
He has another PSP in the background, maybe a back-up..? lol
the hard part
is
making the Magic memory stick.

form what i read
you need more then just software
you need extra Hardware
and soldering skills

Niether will TA88v3's. It can't go into service mode with a pandora. That's why I'm saying, maybe wee could use the MMS on the 3000.

Well Isn't the TA88v3 a predecessor to the 3000? and can someone be so nice to remind me why 3000 models can't use MMS nor Pandora?

And could there be a choice of ofw you want to jump to? see how he went from 6.20/639 all to 5.02 what if someone cane implement the option of other FW's.

i remember yotti said that this MMS should work on psp 3000, but you'd need a special pandora battery than this one.
