Endless Paradigm

I had ordered a 2GB Sony MS off of some site somewhere.  It worked fine for a couple of months, but all of a sudden it stopped working.  My computer (which has a slot for MS) couldn't even recognize it.

So I googled the problem.  There's another way you can find out it's fake.  Rub the Sony logo really hard.  If it rubs off, it's fake.  If you do that to a real Sony MS, the logo won't rub off at all, no matter how hard you rub it.

Also, that's strange.  I could still check the MS info even if the light was flashing.  Just go to Photo (or any folder) press the triangle button, and click information.

If it's a real Sony MS, take out the MS and check the back and make sure none of the pins (those gold things) are bent.  If they are bent, you'll have to try and correct them without damaging them.

If that's not the problem, then take out the MS and slide it back into the PSP slowly and gently.  

If none of that helps, then I don't have anymore suggestions.

i need a card reader.

The PSP won't see it, but will the PC when the PSP is in USB mode see it? if not and Gucci's method does not work, you'll have to source an adapter and possibly a cardreader if necessary to see if the PC likes it
